Surgical procedures offered in the field include;
- Castration
- Stitch ups, surgical repairs
- Foals - hernia repair, infected umbilicus, orthopaedic (periosteal strips)
- Eye surgery
- Hoof surgery
- Sinus surgery
- Dental surgery
Depending on the procedure, we commonly perform surgical procedures either with sedation or under IV general anaesthesia.
For more complex surgical requirements that cannot be performed under field conditions, we encourage and aid in referral to an equine hospital or surgical facility.
