Introducing Ethan! Ethan is one of the newest editions to the REVS team. Ethan’s start to riding came later than most, having not really sat on a horse until he was 15 years of age, when his mother decided to revisit her childhood passion and buy a horse. Since then Ethan has given everything a go: from showjumping to polocross. Most weren’t for him. Then when he was 17, Ethan discovered his passion for Dressage, beginning lessons withsuccessful dressage and show rider Gwyn Jordan. Since then Ethan has devoted every day, every hour and every cent into improving his riding and ensuring that his horses are in tip top condition.
In his home region of Gippsland, Victoria, Ethan spends his spare time riding young and green dressage horses, which further funds his riding education and provides an avenue for him to refine his riding skills.
Ethan is currently further pursuing his passion for animals, and is studying to become a Veterinarian at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga.
Ethan’s current competition horse is imported Friesian, “Jorrit Fan Stal Redia”, whom he has just begun competing: taking out supreme champion at their first show just a few weeks ago. “Jorrit” Is no stranger to REVS, in the past 12 months he visited one of our scoping days, where he was found presenting severe grade 3 ulcers. The vets at REVS were able to cure this and Jorrit is a much happier horse.
Ethan is a dedicated rider, and passionate animal lover who dreams of riding elite level dressage in the hopefully not too distant future.
Ethan really looks forward to being part of the REVS team in 2018 and can’t wait to get out and about, proudly parading the Riverina Equine Veterinary Services logo.
