It's been bright lights and big action for Kristy and Soldier, continuing their breakout into EvA 95 class events at the Friends of Werribee event on the 25th and 26th of August:
"He was super all weekend. The Showjumping saw him step up to the biggest atmosphere he’s seen, jumping indoors at night under lights with a crowd. He had one distracted rail I wasn’t upset about as he made up for it with heart! He was super brave cross country and was clear and under time with the toughest course he’s seen yet. He ended up 11th overall in a very competitive field. Very happy with the result."
Although Kristy, true to form, has been keeping the local medical industry afloat, with a timely reminder "to always restrain horses when handling them! This was a kick from Bull who I’ve owned since a yearling and known him nearly 17 years, just goes to show you can’t always trust them!"
Ouch Kristy, sure you pulled up lame after that one!
